For 34 years Shank Painter Co. Inc. has been a fixture in the year round community of Provincetown, at the tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, as a professional resource for challenging graphic design, commercial priniting, bulk mailing and web design.

This savvy fishing village is home or resort or refuge to a diverse community of people who need to communicate with the 'outside' world, whether they be inn keepers or marine scientists back from the sea with a new theory for saving the endangered right whale.

Whereas Shank Painter, more formally Shank Painter Printing Co. at 100 Shank Painter Road, was once the best place in town to transfer thought to paper - where you needed to talk over the roar of our big press - today we have evolved into a virtual print shop, the interface between a printing requirement and the resources to accomplish this need.

Our work, the old and the new, is challenging but it keeps us in touch both with our loyal clients and the life of our vibrant community That's why we still say - virtually, welcome to the Print Shop.

Our services fall into several major categories: Design, Commercial Printing and Bulk Mailing.

Design includes both print and Internet creative work. Our print design is backed up by 'shop floor' knowledge gained from over thirty four years producing printing matter right on the premises.

Internet design experience was gained through the evolution of our original domain, www.capecodaccess.com, which was the first digital home to many Provincetown institutions before they were able to fly on their own in cyberspace. Among our most enduring projects, the Provincetown Chamber of Commerce site, www.ptownchamber.com, became the template for many imitators. And Ewa's site, iamprovincetown.com, is a rich plethora of information about our community which delights the legion of Provincetown 'expats' who call Provincetown home even though they don't live here.

Our bulk mailing service is designed for the small business or non-profit organization. It grew out of the needs of our customer base and for 25 years has provided reliable bulk mailing employing computerized presorting and USPS automation bar coding for the biggest postage discounts and fast track delivery.
